Surveillance

Our standard day of surveillance is 8 to 10 hours on-site. Our highly trained investigators will secure a position which affords them the greatest likelihood of success in capturing your subject on videotape. Every investigator is equipped with hidden cameras to take advantage of every filming possibility, whether outside or inside. Our clients are given daily verbal updates on their case activity. The final report and videotape are then submitted to the client within days of the completion of the case.

Activities Check

Often used in anticipation of surveillance, an activities check provides useful information regarding your subject’s daily activities. First, your subject’s address, telephone number and social security number are confirmed. A search of the Department of Motor Vehicles is then conducted to identify all vehicles registered to the subject. During an activities check, the neighborhood is evaluated for the best possible surveillance positions, and a discreet inquiry is conducted of neighbors to start to develop information on the subject’s habits. Neighbors are a critical source of information on the daily habits, hobbies, and activity of your subject.

Background Investigation

A background investigation provides a greater depth of knowledge of your subject. In addition to confirming the subject’s address and telephone number, various court and other governmental agency records are searched. We can determine whether your subject has been involved in any civil litigation, or had formal criminal charges filed against him.

We can determine, in most states, whether your subject has filed for workers’ compensation benefits. We will also confirm your subject’s educational achievements and property ownership. The more information in your possession, the better equipped you are to evaluate your subject and his claim.

Skip Trace

Do you have a missing claimant or material witness? We can help you locate that person. Through the use of various computer databases, we can trace the subject’s previous residential addresses and determine his current location. We can even search current and prior employment in our efforts to locate the subject. There are a variety of governmental agencies that can provide critical information in tracking down an individual and PhotoFax has access to those sources.

Undercover Operations

Undercover investigations are most commonly used in a work-place setting. This type of investigation is primarily used to determine sources of loss, such as employee theft or shoplifting, and to detect substance abuse by employees. Undercover operatives are also used to determine employee efficiency and attitudes toward management which directly result in decreased productivity. Ridding an organization of dishonest employees and gathering a better understanding of employee relations problems leads to increased morale and increased productivity.

Our operatives are placed inside your organization, working as a regular employee on your payroll. They are trained observers and have the personality and temperament necessary to fit in to any given situation and to establish a rapport with a number of the other employees.

Our client is provided with a weekly report, stating the progress made during that week, and identifying employees suspected of dishonesty and other relevant employee relations problems.
